Skinbooster Deep, tailor-made hydration
(small bumps, sometimes bruising)
1 month apart
Hydration, exactly where it is needed.
A skinbooster is not a filler. It is a very lightly cross-linked, fluid hyaluronic acid gel designed to spread through the dermis without creating volume. It captures water, boosts collagen and elastin production, and transforms the very quality of the skin tissue.
In the clinic, I have chosen to work with two products. We do not mix them: depending on the skin, age, and the area to be treated, we choose the one that suits you best together. For an adequate result on the face, two syringes are required per session.
Indications
Face: skin quality, radiance, fine lines
Neck and décolletage
Back of the hands
Dull, dehydrated, tired skin
Mature skin losing density
Preparation before an event
Routine annual maintenance
When the injection is performed with a needle, small bumps may be visible for 24 to 48 hours, which can be covered with foundation. Bruising is possible, as with any injection. Avoid intense physical activity for 48 hours, and avoid saunas, steam rooms, and sun exposure for one week.
The products
Lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid combined with an antioxidant. From the French laboratory Vivacy. Indicated for deep hydration and skin quality.
Micro-droplets of modified hyaluronic acid, injected intradermally. Brightening and smoothing effect, natural “glass skin” result.
How it works
Skin quality diagnosis. Choice of product (Hydromax or Skinvive) according to the skin, age, and area to be treated.
Thorough makeup removal and cleansing of the area to be treated.
Micro-injections using an ultra-fine needle or a cannula depending on the area. The session lasts 45 minutes in total.
When the injection is done with a needle, small bumps may be visible for 24 to 48 hours, which can be covered with foundation. No intense sport for 48 hours; no sauna, steam room, or sun for one week.
3 sessions spaced one month apart, using 2 syringes per session for the face. Annual maintenance then helps to maintain the results.
Frequently asked questions
Why two different products?
Stylage Hydromax and Skinvive by Juvéderm are two excellent skinboosters, each with its own indications. We do not combine both on the same patient: depending on your skin, your age, and the area, we choose the one that suits you best together.
Will it make my face look puffy?
No. These are not fillers. A skinbooster is designed to improve skin quality—hydration, radiance, texture—without creating volume or modifying facial contours.
Needle or cannula?
Both techniques are possible depending on the area and the chosen product. The needle allows for very precise distribution in micro-droplets; the cannula limits bruising on larger areas. The choice is made at the time of the session.
How many sessions?
The initial course is ideally 3 sessions at one-month intervals, using 2 syringes per session for an adequate result on the face. Annual maintenance is then sufficient to maintain the results.
What is the downtime?
Small injection bumps are visible for 24 to 48 hours, perfectly coverable with foundation from the next day. A bruise may occur in the case of a needle injection, as with any injection. No intense physical activity for 48 hours.
Can the neck, décolletage, and hands be treated?
Yes, these are excellent indications. These areas often betray age before the face; the skinbooster restores density, hydration, and light to them.
Difference from PRP or polynucleotides?
The skinbooster hydrates; that is its primary function. PRP and polynucleotides repair and regenerate. These protocols are complementary and can be combined throughout the year.
