The protocol

Images are provided for illustrative purposes. Results may vary from patient to patient.

A precisely calibrated procedure, down to the millimetre.

Botox®, or botulinum toxin, selectively relaxes the muscles responsible for expression lines, or certain muscles that pull on the skin, clench the jaw, or tighten the neck. The dosage and mapping are defined during the consultation, depending on the desired effect.

At Dr Knidiri’s practice, each protocol is discussed in advance: what is treated, what is preserved, and to what intensity. Nothing is standardised; the result is yours.

A result designed to remain natural

The goal is not to erase all facial movement, but to adjust the intensity of muscle relaxation to what the patient wishes to achieve, from the most subtle to the most defined. The dosage is calibrated down to the millimetre to preserve natural expressiveness, especially on the forehead and around the eyes, where excess can create an unwanted frozen look.

Side effects and contraindications

Like any medical procedure, Botox® in Brussels involves precautions to be aware of: contraindications (pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain neuromuscular conditions) and possible side effects, generally mild and temporary.

The price of a Botox® injection

The price of a Botox® injection in Brussels depends on the number of areas treated and the dosage required. It is communicated transparently during the consultation.

Dr Asma Knidiri, your aesthetic doctor in Brussels specialising in Botox®

Graduated in medicine from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Dr Asma Knidiri completed her specialised training at the Collège International de Médecine Esthétique in Paris. She is a member of the Belgian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SBME).

In Belgium, botulinum toxin injections are a medical procedure reserved for physicians. This requirement ensures a prior medical history, in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, and the ability to manage potential complications—standards that a beauty institute cannot provide.

The practice is located between Kraainem and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, just a short walk from Place Dumon and Stockel, in an easily accessible location for patients wishing to receive Botox® injections in Brussels.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Both—and everything in between. The dosage and distribution are adjusted to your request: keeping movement, subtly smoothing, or more clearly reducing lines. This is discussed during the consultation.

Between 3 and 6 months depending on metabolism, muscle activity, and the treated area. The first treatments last a little less; afterwards, the muscles adapt.

The first effects appear around day 3, and the final result stabilises at 15 days. A check-up is scheduled at that time to adjust if needed.

Yes, but with a few precautions. During the first 4 hours: do not bend forward, do not lie down, do not touch or massage the treated areas, no sport, and no sauna or hammam. During the following 48 hours: avoid massaging the area, carrying heavy loads, any intense physical activity, and the sauna or hammam.

The sensation is comparable to a mosquito bite.
